A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. Cookies let us recognise you across pages, remember your session and keep the experience useful without forcing you to sign in on every page load.
Cookie categories we use
We classify cookies in two categories:
- Essential — required to operate the Service (authentication, security). Cannot be disabled because the Service won't work without them.
- Functional — improve the user experience (remembered filters, recent searches). Can be cleared from your browser settings without losing access.
We do not set advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not currently use third-party analytics that profile individual users.

Third-party cookies
Embedded providers may set their own cookies in your browser when you interact with their features inside ShipScanner. These are governed by the respective provider's policy, not ours:
- Stripe — when you start a checkout, Stripe may set cookies for fraud detection. See stripe.com/cookie-settings.
How to control cookies
You can clear or block cookies from your browser settings. Note that blocking Essential cookies will sign you out and prevent you from signing back in.
